In this youtube video we are shown an angry black woman beating the crap out of a skinny balck man. We are not told what this man did or can hear what they are saying clearly, but it portrays some very interesting things that we learn about in code of street. In code of the street people from the street sort of govern themselves and use fighting as a way of getting respect which is needed. They feel that they need to settle things themselves, because police don't like nor care about them. In this video the woman is beating up this smaller man and a cop drives by and does nothing. He doesn't even slow down. This really showed me that what they talk about in this book is true, and gave me a new perspective on this video as well.
